Ever had that sinking feeling of needing to address a tough conversation with a client? Is their lash health declining? Did the lashes they demand you put on damage their natural lashes? Did you unknowingly do lash damage? Is their lash line gunky and at risk of infection? Are they allergic to the adhesive and not a candidate for eyelash extensions? Having the tough conversations, even if it means losing a client, establishes trust and respect among your clients, community and other lash artists. Don’t be afraid to inform your clients of what’s really going on with their lashes. Give them your advice and let them make decisions based on the facts, not a half truth or lie because you’re afraid you’ll lose their business or upset them by suggesting removal. Honesty is the best policy when it comes to someone else’s eye health.
