Welcome to my 4 Part Series for running your beauty business Post Pandemic. Today’s episode is all about how to REACH OUT to clients as businesses begin to reopen.
As we adjust to the new normal, it is important that you effectively communicate prices, scheduling options, and most importantly, safety regulations. Your clients are likely going to require a lot of special attention and hand holding during this transition period, so we’re going to dive into how to manage this type of client-artist relationship. How you position your business to your clients will be the key to your success post-pandemic.

Booking Strategies
Theres no right way to do this, but there is a wrong way.
There are a couple of different options when it comes to starting to book out these lash-hungry clients. You just need to make sure that you are not OVERLOADING YOURSELF and BURNING OUT immediately upon the reopen. Pace yourself.
Option 1 – All Full Sets. First Come, first served. Just make sure to tread lightly because your body will have some readjusting to do.
Option 2 – Extended Fill – which will not give clients 100% coverage, but it will shorten their appointment, and get them to the full set look eventually.
Option 3 – Incentive to Purchase Full set in advance with a free lash strip gift with purchase (which will buy you time to get other clients in first). Example – Magic Lashes from Lash FX. You can get 50% off your first order at www.lash-attraction.com by using code LASHPRENEUR at checkout.
Additionally, mark off extra time between clients to fully clean your space. Safety is going to be EVERYTHING right out of the gate
Protect & Prepare Your Business To Interact With The Public Again
It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to protect your clients when they walk in your door, not theirs.
Follow your state or province’s guidance on how to reopen safely, to a freaking T! Protect your clients and yourself by minimizing health risks as much as possible.
As we reopen, more guidelines and possible restrictions will be announced. This is an experiment with many possible outcomes, so let the health agencies lead your decision making on how to navigate business during the reopening phase.
Communicate Important Dates
In multiple ways, multiple times.
There are tons of fun and creative ways that you can start announcing your reopen date. A DIY social media campaign, an email campaign, and Instagram story sequence, etc. Just make sure that you are being clear and concise.
Text clients in phases – start with your most loyal and longtime clients first to schedule them in. Once they’ve booked their appointment, you can start reaching out to lower priority clients.
Announce any promotions or offers and how they can take advantage of these offers (Make discounting or these offers optional! Some might want to support you and pay full price since you’ve been out of work for so long!)
Have a Good One!
