Welcome to part 4 of my Post Pandemic Recovery Series for running your beauty business Post Pandemic. Now that we’ve talked about mental health, safety precautions, reaching out to clients, and everything in-between… It’s time to talk about the importance of MARKETING YOURSELF!
BUT HOW DO I EVEN BEGIN TO MARKET MYSELF AGAIN ONCE MY DOORS ARE REOPEN?
Today’s episode is all about how to begin to REBUILD your marketing strategy after a few months of being shut down. It is time to start LETTING PEOPLE KNOW that you have reopened, getting those reviews/testimonials from clients, and being consistent with your marketing game in order to get clients in the door and money in your pocket.

Client Testimonials
One of the most simple and effective ways you can market yourself and your business.
I always, always, always highly recommend getting testimonials from your clients as a way of marketing your business. Think about it…
YOU can talk about your business all day long. YOU can say how talented you are as a lash artist. YOU can say that you are the best lash artist west of the Mississippi…
But if there is no social proof… How are people going to know you aren’t just talking a big game?
Testimonials are a way to not only show off your amazing work, but it is also a way for your clients to show off their amazing lashes to others!
Highlight that transformation. Highlight the before and after. And most of all highlight how BEAUTIFUL and UNSTOPPABLE your clients feel after getting their lashes done by you!
Strategic Partnerships
Team work makes the dream work.
Covid-19 didn’t just affect the beauty industry… it affected ALL BUSINESSES. So that means all business owners are going to need some additional help getting back on their feet, too!
So, reach out to them! Partner with local businesses around you and come up with ways that you can help one another.
It doesn’t have to be just in the beauty industry. It could be a real estate agency, a coffee shop, a restaurant, a laundromat – you name it! It could be as simple as sharing each others business card, or doing some kind of discount for shared customers.
Use the resources around you and partner with like minded business owners to esnure that possible clients know that you are back in business.
Getting Consistent on Social Media
Time to start getting those engagement levels back up!
If you have gotten out of the habit of posting consistently posting on social media, it’s time to get back on the horse!
I know during the shutdown, you likely often thought “what is the point of posting on social media if I can’t be taking clients at this time?” Understandable… But now that businesses are beginning to reopen, if they haven’t already, showing up online is going to be a huge part of your success post-pandemic.
And..if you’re thinking, “well I’ve been shutdown so I have nothing new to post”
Let me introduce you to a beautiful little thing called CONTENT REPURPOSING!
It is okay to use old pictures. It is okay to use old captions… Heck, I do that all the time! Not only is it okay, it is a strategic option when advertising your business.
As long as you are showing up online for your clients and making sure that they know that your doors are open, then you are taking a step in the right direction.
Have a Good One!
